How to play online?

six-card poker In 6-card poker, a player can play four boxes, but an “open” game can only be played on one or two boxes. The bet on the second ”open" box can not be higher than on the first box. The bonus bet can be placed on any of the boxes.

The minimum bet and the maximum payout are clearly stated for each game table, there is no maximum bet. If you play on more than one box, the ante amounts must not be five times or less.

The player is allowed to exchange one, two or five cards in 6-card poker. He can also buy a 6 card. The cost of the purchase or exchange is 1 ANTE. If the purchase or replacement does not improve the player's hand, he may discard cards and lose ANTE.

The dealer qualifies with a pair of deuces or better. If the dealer qualifies, but the player's hand is higher, the bet is paid according to the standard payout table, and ANTE is paid out 1: 1. If the dealer is not qualified, only ANTE is paid.

If the dealer does not qualify, the player can withhold the win in the amount of ANTE and replace the dealer's high card instead. ANTE will be removed from the box as payment for this exchange. If the dealer is still not eligible after the exchange, the ANTE will not be returned to the player and will not be paid.

Basic Rules of Six Card Poker

holdem-vs-holdem

Before the cards are dealt in 6-card poker, the player chooses which boxes he wants to play on and bets ANTE. In addition to the main bet on the box (or instead of it), the player can also make a bonus bet. In this bet, the player bets on whether his first hand has a strong poker hand (three or better).

If you play several boxes, the first two boxes with ANTES are considered “open”, and the rest are considered “blind”. The limitations associated with the ”blind" game are described in paragraph 15. The bet on the second ”open" field can not be higher than on the first. The larger bet is always played first, regardless of your position on the table.

Each table shows the minimum ANTE and the maximum payout. The maximum payout for both the base bet and the bonus bet is the same, and one player can get the maximum winnings for both bets at the same time. The minimum bonus bet is determined by the cheapest chip allowed at the table.

In each box there are four parts: a circle, a square, an ellipse and a rectangle. ANTE is placed on the ellipse and the bonus bet is placed on the field. The bet is placed on the rectangle (see paragraphs 8 and 9). A special marker with the number 6 is placed on the circle when a player buys the 6th card (see paragraph 8).

To place a bet in 6-card poker, the player must first select a chip with a desired value. At the beginning of the game, this chip is selected by default, and the chip with the minimum value is fixed to the cursor. If the player wants a chip of a different denomination, he can select it by clicking on this chip with the cursor. The player can also use the scroll wheel of his mouse to change the value of the chip. Once the chip is selected, the player can place a bet by clicking on the desired part of the game board. His bet is displayed there. Each subsequent click adds another chip of the selected value to the bet. If the player wants to remove the last chip from his bet, he can remove the chip attached to the cursor by clicking on an empty part of the game window. and then click on this bet.

You can click the “Delete” button to remove all bets from the table. If the player wants to repeat his bets from the previous hand, he can press the “Bet again” button. The ”Deal" button starts the game after all bets have been placed.

With the dealer, the dealer places his last card face up. Then the consecutive game on the boxes begins. The cards on the first box are dealt, after which the result of the bonus bet is determined. The payout for this bet is shown in Table 1.

After looking at his cards, the player has four options:

  • buy a sixth card (”Buy" button);
  • Exchange one, two or five cards (he must first select the unwanted cards with the cursor, and then press the “Drag” button);
  • to increase the bet, that is, to make the BET equal to twice the ANTE (”BET" button);
  • Discard the cards and lose ANTE (“Fold” button).

The cost of purchase or replacement is 1 ANTE. After the purchase or replacement, the player has two options:

  • Increase the BET (”Bet" button);
  • Discard the cards and lose the ANTE (“Fold” button).

card poker strategy

When the final decision has been made for all the boxes, the dealer opens his cards. If the dealer is qualified, his combination is compared with the combinations on the remaining boxes. If the dealer has a higher combination, the player loses ANTE and BET. If the player's combination matches the dealer's combination, the game ends in a draw, and ANTE and BET bets are returned to the player. If a player has a higher combination, ANTE is paid out 1: 1 and the payout is determined according to

If the dealer does not qualify for 6-card stud poker, the player can receive his winnings on all boxes by clicking the “Next” button. In this case, all ANTS will be paid out 1: 1 and no BETS will be paid out. The player can also exchange the dealer's card. In this case, the dealer's high card is exchanged and he may receive a qualifying hand. This exchange is beneficial if the player has a high poker hand, as it gives the player the opportunity to significantly increase his winnings. With the dealer's highest card, the player presses ANTE on the box. As soon as the box is clicked, the chips are darkened and removed from the box as an exchange payment after the player has clicked on “Next”.

Once a player has selected all the fields in which he wants to participate, he continues the game by clicking the “Next” button. Before pressing this button, you can cancel the merchant's card exchange request by clicking on the ANTE field a second time.

As soon as you click the Next button, the game will end in the fields where no exchange request was made. If an exchange has been requested at one of the boxes, the dealer's highest card will be exchanged. If the dealer's hand then matches, the final results are determined for all the boxes remaining in the game. This corresponds to point 10, with the exception that in this case ANTE is missing and has been deleted from the table as an exchange fee (point 11). If the croupier wins, the player only loses his BET. If the player wins, he will receive payment for both the BET and the ANTE (even if there is no ANTE on the table).

If the dealer's card still does not fit after the exchange, the hand ends. ANTE is not paid and the BET is returned to the player.

In the blind game, the player's options are limited. He cannot discard, buy or replace his cards. Raising is mandatory and the BET is automatically added to the ANTE. As usual, the BET is double. ANTE.

Cards issued in "blind" boxes are opened after the player has made a final decision on the “open” boxes. As in an ”open" game, the player is allowed

  • Place a bonus bet
  • To exchange the dealer's high card.

During the draw, the player can receive hints that remind him of the rules of the game. Players can override these hints in the settings.

For the convenience of players, all changes made to the settings are saved in the player's browser settings. When a player closes a game session and then opens a new game session, his settings are automatically restored.

six card poker

Six Card Poker is a type of poker that is played one-on-one against the dealer. The goal of the game is to win with a better poker hand of five cards than the dealer with six cards.

The game uses a standard deck of 52 cards. The game uses the standard poker rules for evaluating and comparing hands.

At the beginning, the player places a bet.

The dealer gives the player six hole cards. The dealer gives himself three hole cards and three hole cards.

The player checks his cards and must either fold his hand, lose a bet or increase his bet by making an additional bet equal to his bet. Players cannot share information about their cards with other players.

The dealer opens his hole cards and compares his best five-card hand with the player's best five-card hand. The dealer must qualify with an Ace king or higher.

If the dealer does not qualify, the player's ante bet is a flush. An upward bet is allowed as follows:

  • If the dealer's hand beats the player's hand, the player loses his raise bet.
  • If the player's hand beats the dealer's hand, the player is paid out 1 to 1 on his up bet.
  • In the event of a tie, the increased bet of the player is considered a push.

When the dealer's hand is qualified:

  • If the dealer's hand beats the player's hand, the player loses his ante and increases his bet.
  • If the player's hand beats the dealer's hand, the player gets 1 to 1 on his ante and raises the bet.
  • In the event of a tie, the player's ante and raise bets will be postponed.
  • There are also two additional bets, Aces Up and Two-Way Bad Beat, which are described below.

Strategy

6-Strategy Poker Below are two basic strategies for the game.

Basic intermediate strategy:

  • Discard cards if the dealer has a higher-ranking hand and uses only his three face-up cards. This rule replaces all other rules.
  • Fold with Asa-10 or lower.
  • Rise with an ace-king or higher.
  • With an ace and a queen, you fold if the dealer has an ace or a king.
  • Fold with an ace queen if the dealer has an ace, king or queen.

A simple basic strategy:

  • Discard cards if the dealer has a higher-ranking hand and uses only his three face-up cards. This rule replaces all other rules.

Turniere

A poker tournament is a tournament in which players compete against each other in the game of poker. A tournament can consist of at least two players at one table (heads-up tournament) and up to tens of thousands of players playing at thousands of tables. The winner of a tournament is usually the one who wins every poker chip in the game, while the rest get places due to their elimination time. To make this easier, in most tournaments the blinds are increased during the tournament. Unlike a regular game (or cash game), the player's tournament chips cannot be redeemed and are only used to determine a player's place.

6 Card Poker Tournaments are no exception and every tournament offers this type of game as it is loved by millions of players around the world.

Winning the game

The following table shows the odds of winning. The zeros for the probability and return of a lost straight flush are not a mistake. The probability is 1 in 25 trillion. This situation was the basis of the film “Honeymoon in Vegas”, but I'm getting away from the topic. The lower right cell of the table below shows a casino advantage of 10.84%.
