Each Maker Day event brings a unique opportunity.



First Maker Day

Thanks to excellent collaboration and support from Erin Johnson and her team at Industry Training Authority (ITA BC) and Nancy Darling and her team from the Women in Trades Training (WITT) program at Okanagan College, the ILC hosted the first Maker Day in 2013.
Educators, Ministry of Education folks, ITA folks all came together to design, tinker and create.

Maker Day, March 2014: Educators from School District 23 (Central Okanagan) gathered at Okanagan College.


Maker Day, April 2015: Educators from School Districts 08 (Kootenay Lake), 20 (Kootenay-Columbia), & 51 (Boundary) joined with teachers from Selkirk College.
